UCAP Conference
I took the opportunity to go to the UCAP Conference on Saturday. It was a great experience. Although, I did come away a bit exhausted - emotionally, mentally, and physically. I feel like there is so much to do. There's so much to learn and share. There are so many things to still do with my kids...mainly conversations. I want them to be safe. I want to help them be informed. I want them to feel like they can talk with me...about anything. I want to have the tools I need. I want other parents to have tools they need. And, I really want kids to have the tools they need to keep themselves safe in every way.

New Blog
I just told my son that I was starting another blog. He asked what this one was about. I told him and his response was, "That's a weird thing to blog about.". I agreed. It's not a usual thing to blog about - that's why I am blogging about it. It seems like there are not enough resources available to help those who are snared in pornography. There are too many conversations that need to happen that just aren't happening. There are too many people caught unaware until it's too late. There are too many secrets...too many users that feel like they can't reach out for help, too many family members that don't want to share with anyone outside the home what is going on in theirs, too many people hurting. I'm not sure exactly what this will end up looking like - but, I wanted a place where resources were available. I wanted something that let people know they had information and understanding. Maybe we'll figure out a way to have those conversations happen.
